Born in Paris in 1972, French photographer Ambroise Tézenas graduated from the Institute of Fine Arts of Vevey, Switzerland in 1994. Settling in London and then in Paris, he worked regularly for the French and international press, and was a member of Agence Editing from 2000 to 2002. From 2002 on Ambroise Tézenas has essentially devoted his time to the creation of a personal work on urban landscapes. In 2004 he co-founded the association of independant photographers Think Pictures.
In 2006 he received the Leica European publishers award and published the book Beijing: theatre of the people.
This year De Kunsthal in Rotterdam hosted his show.
